What is Therapy?

Therapy is a process of exploration, growth, change, acceptance, and self-discovery.  

Okay, but what does that mean?  

 

Therapy looks very different from one person to another depending on what your needs and goals are. Whether you're struggling with low mood or anxiety, or you're struggling with a life transition, grappling with the impacts of past traumas, or feeling that you aren't living the life you want to lead, the role of therapy is to offer support and to help you gain the tools, skills, and insight you need to be able to move forward.

Individual Therapy

I am dedicated to providing a supportive environment where individuals can identify problematic patterns and work towards healing. Using a blend of traditional talk therapy modalities and specialized training in somatic therapy appraches like EMDR and Brainspotting allows me to provide effective treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges.
